Growing up, I hated grammar because it wasn’t explained to me in a way that I could understand and apply it. Grammar was always taught through workbooks, and in many cases, it still is. But grammar workbooks are not the only way to teach adolescents how to communicate effectively. Here’s how I introduce grammar to my students in the classroom, and how I learned to make grammar fun to learn!
